once there was a very cool tool to identify AMD processors.

It it required the users to input the 3 code lines from the processor
label into the appropriate fields, then it calculated all possible info
out of these values.

It was not scanner via software from the working system it needed the
user to provide the information.

The tool revealed in addition to CPU speed, production week, thermal
power and so on.

Sadly I forgot the web site name and can't find it anymore without a
bookmark.

I thought it was http://www.terrybutler.com can't seem to remember
