Hi,

I have an 820GM system. Just recently, I started using a USB keyboar
with it. At first I didn't notice a boot time message about the syste
not finding a keyboard, because it works great inside Windows Vista.
The issue became obvious when I had to go into the BIOS 2 days ago.
kept pressing F2 during boot but it would just go straight into Windows
Is this system the only one in the planet that does not recognize a US
keyboard before the OS runs? :confused

Hook your other keyboard up so you can get into BIOS and look for a setting
like or similar to "Enable Legacy USB Devices" and make sure it is enabled.
There may be a single setting or separate settings for keyboard and mouse.
Save changes and exit and your USB keyboard should then work.
