I recently installed a new hard drive in my Gateway GM5623E, and my p
always wants to boot to the new blank hard drive. I tried to change th
boot order in the bios but the bios won't change the order. It alway
goes back the new hard drive 1st. How can I change this so the old har
drive boots first? I've tried swapping the cables on the drives, but i
still boots to the new drive. I can access the boot menu without goin
to the bios and boot from the old drive that way, but it's a pain to d
that every time. Am I missing something simple? I just want boot to th
old drive 1st.... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Solved my own problem... googled it.... lol. Once I selected the har
drive I wanted to boot from, I used the + and - keys to change the orde
up or down the list then save & exit. Apparently this works any bios n
matter which os (XP, Vista, etc.
